The Concerns subcommittee was created to support
a culture where employees are not only free to, but are
encouraged to, report concerns and ask questions without
fear of retaliation. We exist to ensure timely, equal and
equitable treatment in accordance with Our Values.
Mission
"Trust is essential for
an employee to file a
concern. We're identifying
trends and developing
opportunities to strengthen
employees' confidence in
the process."

Alabama Power reinforces the importance of having a safe,
respectful, inclusive and productive work environment.
Starting in 2015, Alabama Power began Civil Treatment
Training for leadership and in 2016, training for employees.
By integrating Our Values, code of ethics, corporate policies
and principles, and focusing on day-to-day workplace
scenarios and outcomes of uncivil behavior, the training
is designed to reinforce the expectation that employees
maintain a culture of respect.
Civil Treatment Training
Civil Treatment Training is required
for all Alabama Power employees.
