The Edison Electric Institute (EEI) awards program recognizes outstanding leadership and service in the electric power industry. In 2018, APC received: The Association of Edison Illuminating Companies encourages research and the exchange of technical information and best practices within the electric energy industry. In 2018, APC received: EEI Emergency Assistance Award for restoration to 330,000 customers in Lowell, Massachusetts. EEI Emergency Assistance Award for restoration in Puerto Rico after a hurricane left all 3 million residents without power. Achievement Award for our Integrated Distribution Management System. Presidential Award of Honor Power Delivery Recognition Since the Presidential Award was established, more than 192 employees have received this prestigious commendation.
