54 A culture of inclusion is a work environment without barriers in which employees feel welcomed, valued, respected and engaged. We have expanded our efforts, policies and benefits to be considerate of the needs of the numerous communities employees represent including women, minorities, veterans, individuals with disabilities and members of the LGBTQ community. Adoption Leave Up to 12 weeks of continuous paid leave for mothers and fathers who have adopted a child. Maternity Leave Up to 12 weeks of continuous paid leave for mothers after the birth of a child. Parental Leave 80 hours of paid leave for mothers and fathers upon the birth or adoption of a child. Inclusion Alabama Power Company employees and their families at the annual Birmingham Heart Walk. Employees recognized at the CCI Veterans Day luncheon.
