13 The Concerns subcommittee was created to support a culture where employees are not only free to, but are encouraged to, report concerns and ask questions without fear of retaliation. We exist to ensure timely, equal and equitable treatment in accordance with Our Values. Mission "Trust is essential for an employee to file a concern. We're identifying trends and developing opportunities to strengthen employees' confidence in the process." – Leigh Davis, vice president, Customer Services Subcommittee: Concerns Jeff Peoples | Anita Allcorn-Walker | Leigh Davis | Tony Smoke Alabama Power reinforces the importance of having a safe, respectful, inclusive and productive work environment. Starting in 2015, Alabama Power began Civil Treatment Training for leadership and in 2016, training for employees. By integrating Our Values, code of ethics, corporate policies and principles, and focusing on day-to-day workplace scenarios and outcomes of uncivil behavior, the training is designed to reinforce the expectation that employees maintain a culture of respect. Civil Treatment Training Civil Treatment Training is required for all Alabama Power employees.
