Alabama Power is honored by the hard work and
dedication of employees, and we're proud to celebrate
and support the educational pursuits of their students.
For 27 consecutive years, the Alabama Power Foundation
has awarded scholarships for dependent children of active,
retired and deceased employees.
In 2018, the scholarships were expanded to include two
Presidential Scholarships — one for a student attending
a four-year public university in Alabama and one for
a student pursuing a skilled trade through a technical
program. Winners are selected by an independent
company based on academic achievements,
participation in extracurricular activities and leadership.
