Alabama Power is proud to collaborate with several
business and government-sponsored groups to
promote the employment and retention of individuals
with disabilities, and works with the state of Alabama
to develop programs and resources that provide job
opportunities through the vocational rehabilitation
department and associated vendors.
Internally, our Disability Management team consults
with management on developing individualized
accommodations for employees and provides
annual, statewide training for other employers on best
practices for recruitment and retention of individuals
with disabilities.
