Thanks to the Alabama Power bill insert, two customers with a common interest have formed a new bond. The Rev. Molly Fulford recently called the Jackson Office to say she enjoys the recipes in Power Facts, adding that one of her favorites is the Kentucky Derby Pie featured in a 2012 issue. While baking a few weeks ago, Fulford said she decided to call Joyce Williford, the customer from Seale who submitted the pie recipe. Fulford thanked her for the recipe. A few minutes after their conversation ended, Williford called Fulford to offer other recipes. "I really enjoyed talking to Joyce on the phone, and I feel like I've found a new friend," said Fulford, who, much to her delight, has already received several of Williford's recipes. Fulford said the Campbell's Creamy Chicken and Wild Rice recipe is the first dish she plans to prepare. Susan Woods-Ross called to commend Kenneth Harris, Metro South-Pelham, for providing exceptional service while replacing a meter. Harris was "very professional, polite and personable." She appreciated his patience in allowing time to get her dogs out of the way so he could work on the meter.
