He also has published three coffee table books. The latest, "Home Sweet Home Alabama," features beautiful sites and people of the state. He has been to more than 30 countries, but his favorite place is right here in Alabama. christopher Jones Contributing photographer Christopher Jones is a freelance photographer who started a photography career after working as an electrician for 11 years. Since discovering his love for photography, Jones has worked for Birmingham Magazine, ShelbyCo Magazine and now works with Alabama Power as a contract photographer. nik layman Contributing photographer Nik Layman has lived and worked in Birmingham since 2005. He has shot football from Southeastern Conference sidelines, worked with celebrities and traveled across the state, country and world with his camera. He and his wife, Angela, a makeup artist, enjoy collaborating on fashion and editorial projects. ch r is m i l l e r Contributing writer Chris Miller is a licensed U.S. Coast Guard boat captain who lives in Georgia and spends time at Weiss Lake.
