Twenty- six volunteers logged over 500 hours in the event that benefits the National Wild Turkey Federation's Wheelin' Sportsmen program. Alabama Power was recognized for its support of the Association of the United States Army (AUSA). Ozark Business Office Manager Trent Dillard accepted the award for the company at the AUSA kickoff luncheon. A Mobile customer wrote to compliment the "excellent" work of Customer Care Associate Deanna Moseley. The customer she was assisting had to end their phone call because of his own business demands. "To my pleasant surprise, Deanna called me back before she left for the day to make sure my needs were met. … This is truly exemplary customer service and you should be very proud of the job that she is doing for Alabama Power." Alabama Power received a 2015 Community Partner Award from the Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Chattahoochee Valley. Phenix City Operations Manager Sebastian Dixon accepted the award. Dixon has participated in the program since 2009 and is on the board of directors. Katie Thomas, NWTF's Tyler Briggs, Craig Harris, Shea Jernegan and Patti Jones.
