To report an outage or hazardous condition, call 800-888-2726. http://twitter.com/alabamapower • http://facebook.com/alabamapower • http://youtube.com/alabamapower Trina DeVore, Oxford POWER RECIPE 27 ounces frozen French-style green beans 1 (3-ounce) cream cheese, softened 1 (8-ounce) can sliced water chestnuts, drained 1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese (mild, medium or sharp) 3 tablespoons margarine 1 can cream of mushroom soup, undiluted 1 teaspoon dried onion flakes ¼ teaspoon garlic salt ¼ teaspoon pepper 2½ ounces slivered almonds Paprika French Quarter-style Green Beans Cook beans, drain. Melt margarine in Dutch oven, add soup and cream cheese. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until cream cheese is melted and mixture is smooth. Remove from heat, stir in green beans, onion flakes, water chestnuts, garlic salt, pepper and cheddar cheese. Spoon mixture into a lightly greased 2-quart casserole dish. Top with almonds and paprika. Bake uncovered at 450 degrees for 45 minutes.
