Power Facts A l A b A m A P o w e r C u s t o m e r N e w s l e t t e r March 2016 www.AlabamaPower.com Helen Smith, Birmingham POWER RECIPE 12 drumsticks or 6 leg quarters ¼ cup honey ½ cup lime juice 1 tablespoon freshly ground black pepper 1 teaspoon kosher salt or sea salt ¼ cup olive oil ¼ cup white wine vinegar 2 tablespoons honey Dijon mustard Honey Lime and Black Pepper Chicken Mix honey, lime juice, vinegar and mustard together. Drizzle in olive oil while beating mixture. Wash chicken and pat dry. Season with salt on both sides. Pour half of marinade over chicken and store in refrigerator for 35 minutes or until chilled. Preheat oven to 350. Place chicken on a baking sheet or in a casserole pan. Sprinkle liberally with pepper, covering chicken completely. Bake uncovered for 35 minutes. Remove from oven and pour remaining marinade over chicken. Cook for 15 minutes or until golden brown. Never provide anyone your credit card information, your Alabama Power bill information or account number, or any personal banking information. If someone makes this claim, call Alabama Power or your local police department to report it. If you ever have any question about the status of your Alabama Power account, do not hesitate to call us.
