While her writing assignments have taken her from restaurant kitchens to sports arenas and beyond, the West Virginia native delights in the natural beauty of her adopted state. wynter Byrd Contributing photographer Wynter Byrd is an award- winning photographer and videographer with more than 26 years of experience. She has photographed three American presidents. She earned an Emmy for her work on "Gorbachev Walk-About" and was nominated for another for "Kids at Risk" with the Public Broadcasting Service- BBC. Byrd won a Kodak Award for her photography on "Where the Children Come From," also with PBS- BBC. Byrd's work has been featured on CNN, CBS, ABC, NBC, BBC and FOX.
