He spent 25 years with The Tuscaloosa News as a reporter and editorial page editor and is now the newspaper's outdoors writer. While her writing assignments have taken her from restaurant kitchens to sports arenas and beyond, the West Virginia native delights in the natural beauty of her adopted state.
