the close rivalry with 40 wins against 38 losses
and three ties.
Alabama Power has been a longtime sponsor
of the Classic. During halime of the game,
the Alabama Power Foundation presents a
donation to both universities.
"Both of these universities make a
remarkable difference in the lives of their
students and in their communities," said
Myla Calhoun, president of the Alabama
Power Foundation. "The Classic gives us an
opportunity to recognize their impact."
Alabama Power also supports various events
around the Classic focusing on awareness,
education and empowerment. For four years,
one of those events has been the Birmingham
Business Alliance Talent Recruitment Project,
which includes mentoring for students as well
as panels on diversity and inclusion in the
workplace.

Birmingham," said Quentin Riggins, senior vice
president for Governmental and Corporate
Affairs.
This year's McDonald's Magic City Classic
presented by Coca-Cola is Oct. 27. A schedule
