These purchases have become easier with the help of Smart Financing. Smart Financing, offered by Alabama Power, provides customers affordable options for their next home energy project. From heating and cooling system replacements, to energy efficiency upgrades or generators for weatherproofing, Smart Financing gives customers competitive and flexible rate options that can fit within their budget. Through the program, the company partners with home service providers to offer this financing option. The provider facilitates the online process for the customer with a simple application that can receive fast credit approval. Applications are typically processed within 10 minutes of submission. Alabama Power customers have the additional convenience of adding the payment to their monthly power bills. Financing is also offered to non-Alabama Power customers. The only requirement is the project address be within Alabama. Customers may finance home projects ranging from $2,000 to $25,000, include heating, ventilation and air conditioning equipment, weatherization and standby generators.
