In 2023, Jack Pokluda joined the Market Research & Business Intelligence team from Samford University, where he earned a double major in just four years. He brought with him a strong blend of analytical thinking, collaborative energy, and natural curiosity that made him a standout addition to the team. Since joining, Jack has held two key roles, consistently showcasing his ability to transform complex data and stakeholder feedback into clear, actionable insights. Currently, he is helping commercial and industrial customers navigate federal grants and tax credits to support electrification and operational expansion within Alabama Power's service territory. Outside of work, Jack brings the same passion and creativity to his personal interests where he enjoys charitable woodworking, photography and drone videography, as well as traveling and exploring new perspectives. Lauren Latham is a key member of the APC Marketing team, specializing in profitability and economic analysis. Lauren's role involves conducting detailed evaluations and providing insights that support various projects and initiatives within Alabama Power. Lauren has been actively involved in several important projects, including the evaluations of new data center load, where she provides valuable input on the drivers of cost increases and the impact of fuel costs. She has also been instrumental in managing expense reports and ensuring accurate project charging. Lauren's expertise in economic analysis is evident in her ability to handle complex tasks and provide detailed evaluations. She is known for her strong leadership and high capacity for work, often being the "go- to" person for additional, ad-hoc requests.
