Powergrams wins state writing award
On April 23, Powergrams won first place for newsletter writing in the annual Alabama Media
Professionals communications competition. As a state winner, the publication may move forward
to judging by the National Federation of Press Women (NFPW), with winners announced at the
2026 NFPW Conference on Sept. 26 in Ellicott City, Maryland.
