AS ANNOUNCED AT THE
ELEVATE CONFERENCE,
THE ALABAMA POWER
FOUNDATION WILL OFFER
ELEVATE PRIZES, A NEW
GRANT PROGRAM OF THE
FOUNDATION.
The $25,000 prizes fulfill the mission of the conference – to build stronger relationships and for

nonprofits to work with each other to improve their
communities and our state.
"The Alabama Power Foundation is happy to offer
the Elevate Prizes," said John Hudson, president of
the foundation and vice president of Public Relations
and Charitable Giving. "We hope that nonprofits will
look for opportunities to collaborate with each other
and their communities and think of ways to Elevate
our state."
Nonprofits will be asked to submit an application for
a program or initiative. Winners will be chosen based
on how well the program leverages partners and

Applications for the Elevate Prizes will be posted to
www.PowerofGood.com on Jan. 13, 2014. The deadline to apply for a prize is June 10, 2014. Elevate Prizes
will be awarded by September 2014.
