His work has appeared in The New York Times, The Washington Post, Sports Illustrated and other publications. roBerT deWiTT Contributing writer Robert DeWitt is a freelance writer and columnist living in the Fort Morgan area. He spent 25 years with The Tuscaloosa News as a reporter and editorial page editor and is now the newspaper's outdoors writer. The Birmingham resident has lived in Colorado, Madrid, Barcelona and New York City.
