Alabama Power is proud to provide a personal
touch when meeting the health and wellness needs of
employees, retirees and families. This assistance comes
through the comprehensive services of Empowered Health.
Our company's health and wellness professionals
are committed to helping individuals navigate the
often-complicated healthcare system and actively
work to connect them with physicians. In addition, the
Empowered Health team provides preventative wellness
programs, such as exercise and nutritional education.
Whether it is advocating on behalf of an employee to a
healthcare provider or encouraging healthy behaviors
through personal counseling, we want to help you live
the good life.
We pride ourselves in being there for our customers
when the storm hits — but sometimes we are the ones
most affected. Family Services offers help to employees'
families impacted by storms when they need an
extra hand. This year, when a Category 4 hurricane
devastated the Florida Panhandle, over 20 Alabama
Power employees and contractors were activated to
assist, with another 30 volunteers ready to go.
