Because Alabama Power lakes are licensed by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), each lake has unique operating requirements. To comply with Alabama Power's program, you must get a permit before beginning construction or making changes to existing facilities or the shorelines. Please call your shoreline manager at the numbers listed below and they will be happy to assist you. Effective Jan. 1, 2020, permit fees are increasing.
